Day 21 – Overcoming Spirit
Lord, I pray for __________, that they would walk in an overcoming spirit. While we know the battle in the flesh to “do what I don’t want to do” is real, even more so is the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. Help my children to not just know what is right, but to DO what is right. I declare that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in __________. (Rom. 6:10-11) Because of this, my children will overcome their flesh. I declare that in ALL things, my children are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us. (Rom. 8:37) Lord, cause the voice of the Holy Spirit to be so near and specific to my children that they respond immediately. I break off chains that keep them tethered and enslaved in bondage to the world. In Jesus’ name, my children will walk in submission to Christ and free from the controlling power of the flesh. Amen and Amen.
