Day 23 – Stand Firm
Lord Jesus, I pray for __________ in the days ahead. There is so much darkness and evil; it will take Holy Spirit grit to stand up under it. Lord, I pray that you would cause them to maintain their armor and spiritual disciplines. But, at the end of the day, may they be doing the holy work of standing. Establish their ways, oh Lord! Cause them to be firmly planted and unmovable. Help them to build their spiritual building on a foundation of rock, not sand. In a culture that tries to numb their senses to understanding and truth, help them to walk in vigilance and discernment. Keep their minds fixed on truth and their spirit-man always postured for battle. When they have done everything they can do to stand, THEY WILL STAND. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
My children will stand firm in their faith. (Is. 7:9)
