Day 24 – Fear of the Lord
Is. 8:13 – The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
Lord Jesus, I pray that __________ would learn a healthy fear of the Lord at a young age. Allow them to live their lives as unto you – knowing they will give an account for their actions. Help them to understand that even if things they do aren’t seen by man, they are seen by You. As Isaiah saw you in the splendor of holiness and resulted in declaring that he was a man of unclean lips, let __________ see themselves in relation to your holiness and respond with hearts postured in repentance. I decree and declare that my children will never move past your holiness. They will stand in awe of a holy God all the days of their lives, which will fuel their worship and passion. In everything, let them live in accordance with your word. May they trust you as a good judge, knowing that you, first, paid the ultimate price for their salvation. You gave them the right to be called children of God. As a result, may they live in holy fear before you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
