Lord God, I pray for our marriage in the area of uniting spiritually. This area of marriage is important yet difficult to maintain. Lord, I pray you give us balance and ideas for how to manage our individual prayer and devotional lives but also how to come together for times of togetherness in prayer and devotion. Help HUSBAND to initiate and take the lead in this. Help WIFE to relinquish expectations of what it “should” look like to what will work for us. Cause our times in prayer and Your Word to be unifying and enriching to our relationship. May you draw us to yourself and make Your voice oh so clear. I pray that this becomes our default when needing wisdom, strength, encouragement, clarity, and direction. In Jesus’ name, amen.
