Lord, today I pray for us as a team. I pray that You would give us vision in our marriage for the value of teamwork to make life work. Help us to see one another as the most valuable asset in each other’s lives. Help us to function effectively in the roles you’ve called us to and the functions we establish for those roles. Cause us to hear and value the other’s voice as secondary only to the voice of the Holy Spirit – knowing that often times the voice of the Holy Spirit will be heard most clearly as the voice of each other. A cord of three strands is not easily broken and with God’s help, our marriage will be strong to withstand the trials of life. Cause us, TOGETHER, to accomplish great things for Your glory.
