As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Lord Jesus, I pray that we would be iron for each other. Cause our lives – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually - to be enriched and made sharp because of one another. Cause this refining process to be enhanced because of our intimacy and friendship. All the days of our lives, Lord, I pray you would cause Phileo to abound – a brotherly love. May our friendship go deep and may we truly function as best friends. May we not see the iron of each other as criticism or contempt – but a loving expression of Godly friendship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
