Lord, give us dreams together and apart. Help us to truly compliment the other in this. Cause us to have the desires of our own hearts while also causing two to become one. Allow us to function as the unique individuals we are created to be – and yet to be united together. Like so many other things in Scripture, maintaining ourselves as individuals yet becoming one with someone else seems like a paradox. But, Lord, let us experience your revelation of how this can happen. Let us be led by the Holy Spirit in these things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
