Lord, we thank you for opportunity and PRIVILEGE it is to be the primary caretaker of each other’s hearts. Lord, we recognize the heart is the wellspring of life and all of life’s issues spring forth from it. Help us to cultivate (till and turn over) the other’s heart on a regular basis. Let no area be uncovered between each other. Help us to seek the needs of the other and meet those needs as well. Help us to effectively use “love talk” (feelings, needs, and resolution) to deal with heart matters. Thank you that marriage transforms our hearts like no other. Thank you that we serve each other’s hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
