Oh Lord, I pray for our marriage, that we would walk each day with our hearts soft before you. May we function in humility and moldability. May we recognize Your supremacy in all things – that you are the Potter and we are only clay. Help us to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) and set boundaries from things that would pull them from Your Word and Truth. Help us to set up proper guards against sins we know about and sins that are unknown – we know that doorways to sin and compromise are the fastest ways to have a hard heart. Help us to always be honest, first and foremost, with You, with each other, and with spiritual authority. Do Your work in our innermost parts. In Jesus’ name, amen.
