A cord of three strands isn’t easily broken.
Lord Jesus, I pray for true intimacy to be present in our marriage. Allow our oneness to spring forth first from our intimacy with You. Allow us the time and give us the drive to cultivate intimacy with one another every year we are married. Cause us to never weary in being intentional. Help us seek intimacy as full beings (body, soul – mind will and emotions, and spirit). I pray that the things which increase intimacy would come naturally – deep conversation, praying together, healthy and regular sex, unity in things of faith and parenting, and mutual submission. I thank You that our intimacy is what sustains us in the valleys and trials of life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
