Jesus, I thank you for the joy that is found in Your presence and the things You have ordained. I pray that we would experience great joy in our marriage. Lord, allow our hearts to smile when we ponder one another. Cause joy to arise out of enjoyment of time spent together, inside jokes we alone can share, special activities and events, serving along side each other, date nights, etc. Cause our home to be full of gut-busting laughter which brings medicine to our souls. May this supernatural joy and laughter be present even in seasons of trial, testing, and loss. May You surprise us with the joy that springs forth in the desert and wilderness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
