Day 14 - Equipped for God’s Will
(Hebrews 13:20-21; I Peter 5:8-10; Colossians 4:12; Philippians 2:13)
Father God, I pray according to Your word that my grandchildren will be equipped in every good thing to do Your will. You will complete and perfect in them that which is pleasing in Your sight through the saving and sanctifying blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you, God, for completing the good work You have begun in ____________. Confirm the assurance in their hearts of Your call and vision for them. Give them the strength to stand firm spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally in the face of opposition and discouragement. Firm in their faith, they will learn how to resist the devil who is seeking to devour them as they pursue Your kingdom ways.
I wrestle for my grandchildren in prayer, that they will grow up to complete maturity in Christ and that their minds would be fully assured and entirely confident of the will of God in all things (salvation, obedience, education, vocation, marriage partner, ministry pursuits, jobs, where to live, etc.) I ask You to work in them both to will and to work for Your good pleasure.
I desire that You will receive overflowing glory from my grandchildren all the days of their lives.
In the completed work of Christ on the cross, I pray. Amen.
