Day 34 - Fruitfulness
Heavenly Father, First and foremost I pray again for the fruit of salvation in my grandchildren’s lives. Once they have accepted Jesus as their Savior, I ask that they be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes from Christ’s life within them for the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:10). Give them clear understanding that You saved them for the end purpose of bearing fruit of life for God (Romans 7:4). May they faithfully and joyfully walk in the good works You prepared ahead of time for them when You fashioned them uniquely (Ephesians 2:8-10).
I speak over _______________ that they will walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, to please You in every way, to increase in knowledge of You and to bear fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10). The fruit of the Spirit will characterize my grandchildren’s lives—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galations 5:22). Their fruit will be like a tree of life to those around them and they will win souls to Jesus (Proverbs 11:30). Give ______________humble hearts that seek to abide in Christ, knowing that they cannot cultivate fruitfulness in themselves apart from You. In faith I declare that my grandchildren will be Christ-seekers who bear much fruit.
In the name of Jesus, the Vine of Life. Amen.
