Oh Lord, I come before You today acknowledging that I have often looked for satisfaction in places I shouldn’t. I have found it in other people, in material things, in the praise of man, and in my own talents and abilities. I’ve tried to drink from other streams instead of the living water You provide. As a result, I’ve turned up thirsty and never satisfied.
While I can never get enough of Your living water and it causes me to “thirst” more, my thirst is and can be quenched. It’s a spiritual paradox – to be thirsty AND satisfied simultaneously. I declare today that You are what I will feast on and be satisfied in. You are more than enough. Thank You for filling me afresh today with Your living water. Thank You for the life-flow that comes from Your water. Thank You that the stream is never ending, pure and fresh. Lord, let me drink deeply of Your purity today.
