Oh Lord, Thank You for revealing Yourself as my Bread of Life and Living Water. This day, I ask that You would bring even more revelation into what that means. I know I have hunger in the natural, hunger in my soul, and hunger in my spirit. Because of this, so often I seek for ways to satisfy my hunger on things that don’t last. I feast on items that are natural in order to fulfill my spirit’s appetite.
Please Lord, open my eyes and give me grace to see the substance that I really need. Help my taste for the things of this world to sour and help me crave things of the spirit. Lord, help me to realize again today, that the Bread of Life is all that satisfies.
O Living Water, let me drink deep of Your presence and Your Word today. Thank You for quenching my thirst with Your truth.
