Oh Lord, as I come to You today with the intention of pursuing a revived heart, I hear You whisper the revelation, “Time is fleeting.” We are on the road to eternity and, some day very soon, we will see You face to face. We will give an account for every word and deed. When Paul says to, “Make the most of every opportunity,” he’s speaking to the urgency of the hour and the priorities of life. Lord, today help me to live under a God-given urgency and right managed priorities. Tomorrow, help me to do the same. And the next day…and the next.
Lord, I open my spiritual ears to hear the voice of the Father saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Let wisdom become my rear guard as I number my days in conjunction with truth. Revive my heart to the urgency of the hour – that tomorrow is not a guarantee. I want to leave nothing on the table and want You to receive all the glory for my life.
